Every General Medical Practice and Registered Pharmacy should be aware that the Home Office states it is good practice to record the receipt and record the destruction of prescribed schedule 2 controlled drugs returned to them by their patients.
Anyone in lawful receipt of schedule 2 controlled drugs returns is strongly advised to operate a register as a record of each return and their destruction. Such a register is available from Surelines.
